New Year, New Projects

With the new year starting tomorrow I wanna take a moment to thank everyone who has helped me this past year with their support and critiques. You are the reason I am able to improve the way I have been. I have come along way with my art and cosplay since this time last year and will continue to go up from here.

Since this is the time for starting over and starting new I want to give you an update of what I will be doing over the next few months with my art. I will admit, this winter break kinda sucked, I have been extremely busy between work and traveling and have gotten almost nothing done that I wanted to, and to top it off, it ends a week earlier than I had originally planned... so that being said here is what I am going to do.

First off: I am going to finish the current commission I am working on - I promise it will be done by the end of the January (with luck a  bit sooner, but no later than the 31st I will make sure of it) I am sorry it is taking so long, but when it is done, I have a feeling you are going to love it because it's looking absolutely adorable.

Second: I will be starting and finishing the Secret Santa gift for my group's Christmas contest which is also due at the end of the month.

Unfortunately due to my workload of well work (not fun art stuff) I will not be opening up more commissions or requests as originally planned. I do apologize for that, I am just too busy at the moment and as it is, Magani1996 had to wait a really long time for his and I really hate having to make people wait like that for artwork. Honestly, I am starting to get annoyed at the constant 9 hour shifts 6 days a week, 1 day off a week does not give you much time to work on anything, and unfortunately all the money I am making seems to be going straight to bills. (I doubt I will even be able to budget enough to renew my core membership on here)

So instead, after I finish those two pieces I will be slowly working on a handful of my own artworks (some fan art, some not) that I have been meaning to do since last summer and just haven't had the time to do. This way I will still be periodically posting things. Depending on how my spring semester goes I you might see me more often sometimes and very absent at others. I am banking on the fact that the beginning won't be too busy and I can use that time to play catch up on my artwork.

AND because it is a new year (and I got a bunch of new drawing pencils and fancy colored pencils and calligraphy ink for Christmas) I will be working on a handful of traditional art pieces as well as some digital ones over the next several weeks. Again, pending how my workload plays out.

Good news: I am off tomorrow, so MAYBE, and that's a big MAYBE I might actually  get some stuff done art wise and maybe even finish something I have been working on.

Bad news: between both of my jobs, that will be my last day off until January 12th...... wish me luck
